On Tuesday, September 26th, our exceptional Paralegal, Dominique Brown, achieved a significant milestone by being admitted to the legal profession as an Australian Lawyer.

Growing up in rural Victoria, she embarked on a brave path in 2016, relocating to Melbourne to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) and a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University.

We are delighted to announce that David Edney, Director of CE Family Law, has been invited to moderate a workshop at the upcoming Pacifica Congress 2023. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place in Hobart from August 31st to September 2nd, 2023.

CE Family Law and To Be Loved are coming together to host their first event, a screening of the award-winning short film ‘Tommy’. The film Produced by Darren Mort, Director of To Be Loved, depicts the painful reality of a family custody battle seen through the eyes of a child.

On the 30th of January, the Australian Government released the draft Family Law Amendment Bill 2023 (the exposure draft) and there is now an opportunity for the community to provide feedback on the proposed amendments.
